Although screen printing has a ways to go to become an eco-friendly process, there are times when we can use non-petroleum based inks and solvents. We continue to seek out new technologies and solutions. All of our waste ink / solvent is disposed of properly, and thermally destroyed in a non-hazardous waste facility. We recycle all waste paper and plastic used in production. We are committed to considering the environment when making business decisions, and we consciously look for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
| At H&H Graphics, charity is an important part of who we are. We make financial contributions to select charities and organizations. We also volunteer. One charity that's particularly important to our family is the Les Turner ALS Foundation. Don't be surprised if you see us at their annual "Walk 4 Life" or canning for change on a street corner. Recently we discovered that old printer cartridges can be recycled to benefit breast cancer research, allowing us to care for the environment and give to charity at the same time...what a winning concept!
| Through our participation in various community groups, such as the Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce and the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association, H&H Graphics demonstrates a commitment to society. We give back to the groups we belong to, and are willing to help others by sharing ideas, expertise or contacts.
